2008 Workshop, Fort Worth, Texas
Due to a temporary relocation of the National Archives Southwest Region, the directors of RIGS Alliance in consultation with the Regional Archives have decided to cancel the October 2008 workshop scheduled for Fort Worth, Texas
2009 Workshop, Atlanta (Morrow), Georgia
The Atlanta workshop is being held at the National Archives-Southeast Region facility adjacent to the Georgia Archives on Jonesboro Road in Morrow, Georgia, 5-9 October 2009.
Lodging & Transportation
RIGS Alliance workshop participants are responsible for making their own reservations and paying for their own lodging, and for their own transportation for any one of these events. You should make your reservations as soon as possible to ensure that you have accommodations at a location and price you prefer.
A list of hotels and rates for Morrow, Georgia, in the vicinity of the Georgia Archives will be available in the near future.
Dining
There's no need to rush around looking for a place to eat at
noon. RIGS Alliance will provided lunch from Monday through Thursday for each workshop.
Participants are responsible for their own breakfast and evening meal during each workshop.
Travel
Air or ground transportation to Fort Worth and Atlanta (Morrow) is the responsibility of workshop attendees. The tuition and fees do not include airfare or ground transportation. However, you may wish to use the services of our recommended travel agent, Nancy Mettes, at Damar Travel, who will work with you to obtain the best airfare available to and from Fort Worth and Atlanta.
